Kennedy Properties & Construction (KP&C) is a locally owned general contracting and property improvement company serving Southern Illinois and the St. Louis Metro Area. Owner and General Contractor Scott Kennedy brings more than 30 years of hands-on construction experience to every project, with a background that includes remodeling, carpentry, property repairs, restoration, commercial construction, and specialty door and hardware work.
KP&C was built around a straightforward approach: provide quality workmanship, communicate clearly, and treat every project as if it were being completed in our own home. Whether the project involves remodeling a single room, refreshing an entire house, repairing property damage, or coordinating a larger multi-trade project, the goal is the same—do the work correctly and deliver a finished product we can stand behind.

More than three decades in the construction industry has provided experience across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. That experience allows KP&C to look beyond the surface of a project, identify potential issues, develop practical solutions, and coordinate the different trades and materials necessary to complete the work properly.
As a general contractor, KP&C can serve as the single point of contact throughout your project, helping coordinate scheduling, materials, subcontractors, permits, inspections, and applicable building requirements, along with the many details involved from planning through completion. This allows you to work directly with one contractor who understands the overall scope of the project and helps keep the different phases of the work coordinated.
Whether a project involves multiple trades, material decisions, unexpected conditions, or changes along the way, KP&C takes a hands-on approach to managing the details and keeping the project moving forward.
